A beautiful design for post war travel to Vichy which is known as a spa and resort town and was the de facto capital of Vichy France during the World War II Nazi German occupation from 1940 to 1944. This poster is by Paul Colin who was one of France’s most famous poster artists of the Art Deco era. This is the smaller version of this poster which was also printed in the larger French one panel size (47″ x 63″)
